AEW’s All In event at Wembley Stadium featured several title changes, with one of the most notable being MJF losing the American Title to Will Ospreay, who promptly renamed it back to the International Title.

On the August 28 episode of AEW Dynamite, MJF took to the ring visibly frustrated. He complained about a splitting headache as the crowd chanted “Shut The F*ck Up!” MJF lamented losing his Dynamite Diamond Ring, his title, and revealed he now has herniated discs in his spine.

In his anger, MJF renounced his American citizenship, declaring he wanted nothing to do with “this garbage country,” except for Long Island, which he still holds dear. He also lashed out at fans who, in his view, show him no respect. Draped in his dark Burberry scarf, MJF was in rare form, expressing his deep dissatisfaction.

MJF declared that AEW is a circus without him and then turned his ire toward Will Ospreay, vowing to screw Ospreay over just when he’s about to win the AEW World Title. Vengeance, he promised, is on its way. He then shifted his focus to “the scum of the earth,” Daniel Garcia.

This was Daniel Garcia’s cue to enter the ring and attack MJF. Although MJF had tried to end Garcia’s career weeks ago, Garcia is now seeking his revenge. Security intervened, but the distraction allowed MJF to regain control and unleash a brutal assault on Garcia. Although Garcia almost got that top rope piledriver on MJF, security stopped him in the end.

Daniel Garcia then grabbed the microphone and said that he pawned off the Dynamite Diamond Ring for a plane ticket. He said that “ruining your life is my fetish.” That garnered an interesting response from the crowd. Then he announced that Tony Khan book booked the two in a match at All Out on September 7.
