WWE has several storylines going right now, and many of them are going to see a spotlight at August 31’s Bash in Berlin event. CM Punk will battle with a bracelet on the line, a very breakable one that came from a fan, but the fact is that the meaning behind that bracelet makes it more valuable together than destroyed for McIntyre and Punk.

Drew McIntyre and CM Punk have been locked in a heated rivalry since WWE Royal Rumble, where McIntyre’s actions left Punk sidelined with an injury that kept him out of the ring until WWE SummerSlam. The tension between them escalated further when McIntyre made it personal by stealing Punk’s bracelet, a cherished item engraved with the names of his wife, AJ Lee, and his dog, Larry.

While speaking to Haley Miller of Comic Book, McIntyre was asked if he had plans for the bracelet. When asked about why he hasn’t broken it yet, he had quite a reply.

“It comes with me everywhere. What am I gonna do with it? I don’t know, I toy with the idea of breaking it but that’s too easy. It causes him just so much emotional hurt and stress It’s hilarious. Over something that’s, you know, just a piece of trash to me. Once I take him out of wrestling and I get surgery for my arm for all the high fives I’m given for taking Punk out of wrestling, I’ll probably frame it and put it in a nice little glass frame.

Put it above my mantle and look at my greatest achievement. Not wrestling the main event at WrestleMania, multiple world titles; holding the place together when the world shut down during the pandemic. Now taking CM Punk out of wrestling? My number one achievement. I also was in a real movie which he’s never done. Straight to DVD, Punk.”

This battle between CM Punk and Drew McIntre elevated the value to that homemade bracelet into a title-worth category. It also goes to show that it’s not the title belt that’s important, because any object can have the significance of a championship, if not more.

McIntyre and Punk are set to clash in a strap match at WWE Bash in Berlin. We will have to see if Punk will replace that strap around his wrist with that valuable bracelet when the time comes. Ringside News will have full coverage, whatever happens on August 31.

Keep checking back with us as we keep an eye on Drew McIntyre and CM Punk’s ongoing storyline. You never know what will happen next, but Drew isn’t going to lighten up his rage about CM Punk just yet.
