Batista has worked hard to establish himself as one of the greatest Superstars in WWE’s history, but his time in WWE was not always a bed of roses. He is a bona fide future WWE Hall of Famer and has now made it clear he is open to being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in the future.

In 2020, Batista was announced as a Hall of Fame inductee, but the global pandemic led to the ceremony being postponed to 2021. Unfortunately, Batista couldn’t attend the prerecorded ceremony at the WWE ThunderDome because of prior commitments.

While speaking to Chris Van Vliet, Batista was asked if he wanted to go into the WWE Hall of Fame in the future. Batista stated he is open to a WWE Hall of Fame induction. He shared that he had a good opportunity to be inducted a couple of years ago and agreed to it when Triple H asked him. However, the induction was scheduled to take place in LA, where he had won his first title, making it a perfect, storybook moment.

Unfortunately, he was working on a film in South Africa at the time, which made it logistically impossible to attend. Despite this, Batista remains open to the idea and hopes to be inducted one day.

“Eventually, I will. I want to, and there was a good opportunity for me to go in a couple of years ago. I agreed to do it—Hunter asked me to do it—and I said, ‘Yeah, of course.’ It was going to be in LA, and I thought it was perfect; it was storybook because I won my first title here in LA. However, we couldn’t figure it out because I was working on a film in South Africa, so logistically, we just couldn’t make it happen. But yes, I’m still open to it, and one day I would like to.”

Since his final match at WWE WrestleMania 35, where he faced Triple H in 2019, Batista has continued to make waves in the entertainment industry. We will have to wait and see whether The Animal gets inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame eventually, as he more than deserves it.
