It’s Wednesday night and you know what that means! The post-AEW All In: London episode of Dynamite will go down tonight, and Ringside News has got you covered with live play-by-play results coverage for the August 28, 2024 episode.

The show opens up with Excalibur, Taz and Tony Schiavone welcoming us as we see a recap of Bryan Danielson’s big AEW World Championship win at All In: London 2024. Blackpool Combat Club’s Jon Moxley then makes his way down to the ring to address the AEW fans.
Tony Schiavone is standing in the ring and he says it’s great to see Moxley for the first time since AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door. Schiavone then asks how Moxley has been and Moxley says he has some things that needs to be done. Moxley says he came to Dynamite looking to have a conversation with a man who is everything like him, then tells Darby Allin that he won’t be hard to find. Moxley then makes it clear to Allin that this isn’t his company anymore.
We then head to the back, where The Conglomeration, FTW Champion HOOK and CMLL World Women’s Champion Willow Nightingale are being interviewed. Mark Briscoe says Tomohiro Ishii is going to whoop some “cowboy ass,” while the rest of the group will take care of business in the big 8-Man Tag Team Match. Nightingale then says she has chosen to face Kris Statlander in a Chicago Street Fight at AEW All Out for the CMLL World Women’s Championship. Ishii then walks off ahead of his match, which is coming up next.
“Hangman” Adam Page then makes his way down to the ring for the first match of the night and The Conglomeration’s “The Stone Pitbull” Tomohiro Ishii follows.
The match starts off with both men delivering forearms on each other. Page then looks to hit Ishii with a shoulder tackle, but Ishii stays standing on his feet and nails Page with one of his own. Page and Ishii then go back and forth hitting chops on each other. Page then nails Ishii with a clothesline on the apron. Page then follows it up with a DDT and sends Ishii back inside the ring, then climbs to the top rope and hits a clothesline. Page then goes for a pin, but Ishii kicks out. Page then wears Ishii’s ankle down with a submission, but Ishii makes it over to the bottom rope to break the hold. Page then delivers some right hands on Ishii, but Ishii nails Page with one of his own and follows it up with a back suplex. Ishii then goes for a pin, but Page kicks out. Ishii then hits a splash on Page in the corner and both men teeter on the ropes before Ishii hits a superplex on Page and goes for a pin. Page then kicks out and hits a Death Valley Driver on Ishii. Ishii then returns the favor with a suplex. Ishii then hits an enzuigiri on Page. Page then goes for a Deadeye, but Ishii escapes. Page then goes for a Buckshot Lariat, but Ishii sees him coming and hits him with a Deadeye. Ishii then follows it up with a clothesline and goes for a pin, but Page kicks out. Ishii then sets up for a vertical suplex, but Page escapes and Ishii flips him inside out with a clothesline. Page then returns the favor and both men look to nail each other with clotheslines. Page then hits a clothesline on Ishii, then follows it up with the Deadeye and the Buckshot Lariat for the win.

After the match, Swerve Strickland and Prince Nana make their way down to the ring. Strickland and Page stare each other down before Strickland says he made his way down to the ring to look Page in the eye and tell him that he feels sorry from him. Strickland then says Page keeps inching further and further away from success and while he may no longer be the AEW World Champion, he will always be a World Champion. Page then tells Strickland that he’s not a World Champion, but rather a piece of s***. Page then tells Strickland he’s not as good as him, seeing as he could never beat him without any help. Page then says he wants to see Strickland on his knees. Strickland then challenges Page to a Steel Cage Match at All Out. Strickland then recalls driving to Page’s house and seeing him escort his pregnant wife to the hospital and says that’s when he realized that was who Page was supposed to be. Strickland then says while he’s been otherwise occupied with the AEW World Championship, Page has been focused on him. Strickland then explains that he challenged Page to remind the world what he’s about, then says Page’s career is going up in flames. Strickland then asks Page what kind of man he’ll be in the Steel Cage and what kind of man he’ll show his kids who he is. Page then slides out of the ring and heads to the back, not responding to Strickland’s challenge.
We then get the entrances of the next match of the night, which is a Singles Match.
The match starts off with Cameron nailing Hayter from behind. Hayter then delivers some stomps on Cameron in the corner. Hayter then sends Cameron into the corner, then delivers some right hands on her and looks to send her crashing into the corner. Cameron then escapes and sends Hayter crashing into the corner, then looks to hit a springboard Bulldog. Hayter then avoids it and sends Cameron crashing into the mat. Cameron then rolls out of the ring and Saraya checks on her. Hayter then stares Saraya down, then gets Cameron back in the ring. Cameron then looks for Sole Food, but Hayter responds with three backbreakers and the Hayter Line for the win.

After the match, Saraya throws Cameron in Hayter’s direction as a means of a distraction to escape through the crowd.
We then head to the back, where Renee Paquette is interviewing “The Learning Tree” Chris Jericho, “The Redwood” Big Bill, “The Bad Apple” Bryan Keith and The Undisputed Kingdom’s Roderick Strong. Paquette asks Bill about the positive reaction he got from the U.K. crowd. Bill says fan reactions are like the leaves, they change and fall is just around the corner. Jericho then says he is proud of HOOK for winning the FTW Championship. Roderick Strong then says he is proud of being in the “Jericho Vortex” and he wanted Jericho’s help to take care of Orange Cassidy. Jericho then says Cassidy will pay for ruining his $7,000 suit a couple of years back. As everyone walks off, Bryan Keith shouts “you’ll pay the damn price”.
We then get a recap of Will Ospreay’s win over MJF in the American Championship Match at AEW All In: London this past weekend as well as Daniel Garcia’s involvement in the finish.
MJF then makes his way down to the ring to address the AEW fans.
MJF starts off by saying he’s in a tremendous amount of pain right now after All In, then warns the audience about being loud unless they want to receive a beating. MJF then grabs onto his neck wrapped up in KT Tape, then says he lost the International Championship, Dynamite Diamond Rind and herniated two disks in his spine on Sunday. MJF then formally denounces his American citizenship and says he’s sick of the lies. MJF then says AEW will be a circus without him, then addresses Will Ospreay. MJF then says everyone knows that he had Ospreay beat and he had to cheat to regain the International Championship. MJF then says their issues are far from over. MJF then addresses Daniel Garcia and tells him not to show his face in AEW ever again. Garcia then appears behind MJF and nails him, then delivers some right hands on MJF and sets up for a Tombstone. Garcia then decides to take it one step further and places MJF on the top rope and looks to hit a Tombstone off the ropes, but security makes their way down to the ring before Garcia can. MJF then blindsides Garcia from behind and delivers some right hands on him. MJF then delivers some stomps on Garcia in the corner, but Garcia returns the favor and places MJF on the top rope. Garcia then joins MJF up there and sets up for a Tombstone, but Christopher Daniels and other officials make their way down to the ring to break the brawl up. Garcia then grabs a mic and tells MJF he pawned his Dynamite Diamond ring at a pawn shop in Buffalo, New York. Garcia then says ruining MJF’s life is a fetish, then reveals that he talked to Tony Khan to make a match between them at All Out Official. Garcia then tosses his microphone at MJF and hits him in the neck. MJF then accepts Garcia’s challenge and heads to the back. Garcia then leaves the ring and heads to the back as well.
We then see a recap of Ricochet’s AEW debut at All In: London.
We then get the entrances of the next match of the night, which is an All Star 8-Man Tag Team Match.
The match starts off with HOOK and Bryan Keith. HOOK hits Keith with a suplex, then tags in Cassidy. Cassidy and HOOK then hit a double suplex on Keith, then tags in O’Reilly. O’Reilly then wears down Keith, then tags in Mark. Mark then hits a few strikes on Keith. Mark then delivers a few chops and strikes on Bill in the corner, but Bill returns the favor. All eight men then find themselves in the ring and a brawl ensues. Jericho then tags in and hits a strike on Cassidy. Jericho then locks in a Full Nelson on Cassidy, but Cassidy breaks the hold by placing his hands in his pocket. Cassidy then hits a springboard missile dropkick on Jericho. Keith and Mark then tag in and Mark delivers some chops on Jericho and Keith. Mark then sends both men crashing into each other, then nails Keith with an enzuigiri. Keith then delivers some right hands on Mark, then tags in Strong. Strong then beats Mark down, then tags in Keith. Keith then jams his boot into Mark in the corner, then delivers some kicks on his chest and goes for a pin. Mark then kicks out and tags in O’Reilly. O’Reilly then delivers some strikes on Keith and trips him, but Bill makes the blind tag in. Bill then breaks up the Figure Four Leg Lock Cassidy has cinched in on Keith.
Keith then takes a cheap shot on O’Reilly from the apron. Bill then sends O’Reilly into the corner and charges at him, but O’Reilly moves out of the way. Strong and HOOK then tag in and HOOK runs over Strong. HOOK then nails Jericho and Strong and hits a T-Bone suplex on Bill and a second one on Keith. HOOK then goes for a pin, but Keith breaks the fall. HOOK then hits a suplex on Jericho. Cassidy then hits a tope suicida on Keith on the outside and Mark uses a chair as a launchpad to take down Bill. Strong then hits a back suplex and sets up for the End Of Heartache. HOOK then cinches in the Redrum on Strong and Strong taps out.
The winners of the All Star 8-Man Tag Team Match, The Conglomeration (“Freshly Squeezed” Orange Cassidy, ROH World Champion Mark Briscoe and Kyle O’Reilly) and FTW Champion “The Cold-Hearted Handsome Devil” HOOK!
After the match, Matt Taven and Mike Bennett beat HOOK down in the ring as Jericho, Keith and Bill continue brawling with The Conglomeration. Officials then make their way down to the ring to break the brawl.
We then head to the back, where we see “The CEO” Mercedes Moné celebrate her successful TBS Championship defense against Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. at All In with Private Party as Kamille stands by. They then talk about Moné’s NJPW Strong Championship defense against Momo Watanabe at NJPW Capital Collision this Friday. Isiah Kassidy then tries flirting with Moné, but “The Rainmaker” Kazuchika Okada comes to her aid. Moné then asks Okada how to say “bye b***h” in Japanese. Okada then whispers in her ear as Moné says “sayonara, b***es” to Private Party.
Tony Schiavone then introduces AEW Women’s World Champion “The Glamour” Mariah May and she makes her way down to the ring.
Schiavone starts off by congratulating May on winning the AEW Women’s World Championship and May says while she is the new champion, she will be postponing her title commemoration as she will not be holding it in Champaign. May then takes several more shots at Champaign by saying she knows this place is called Champaign, but it should be renamed piss warm beer. May then insults the women in the crowd as being below average and says they are used to putting piss warm beer in their mouths among other things. May then offers to provide a lesson in Glamour and says she will now take off her robe and allow everyone to gaze. May then reveals a little black dress of sorts with the championship around her waist. May then tells the crowd that was enough and walks to the back.
We then get a video showing a heated verbal exchange between AEW World Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks and the Grizzled Young Veterans from All In. The Young Bucks tried to be friendly, but the GYV shut them down and tells them what they did was a message to the entire division, including them. The GYV then says when you see them coming, grit your teeth. We then see the GYV in the backstage area promoting a match with The Outrunners on Rampage. They then repeat their “grit your teeth” catchphrase.
We then get a hype video package for Konosuke Takeshita’s impressive run in the G1 Climax tournament and we see a graphic for a 4-Way Match on Rampage featuring Takeshita vs. The Beast Mortos, Lio Rush and Komander.
We then get the entrances of the next match of the night, which is a Singles Match.
The match starts off with Fletcher and Ricochet shoving each other. Ricochet then does a series of dodges on Fletcher before sending him outside with a somersault dropkick. Fletcher then avoids a dive from Ricochet and responds with a tope suicida of his own. Fletcher then sends Ricochet over the barricade with a running boot and he taunts the crowd afterwards. Fletcher then goes for another running boot, but Ricochet hits him with a springboard meteora. Ricochet then tries to fight back after Fletcher takes the advantage. Fletcher then places Ricochet on the top turnbuckle. Ricochet then hits a headbutt on Fletcher and follows it up with a springboard clothesline. Both men then struggle to their feet and Ricochet hits Fletcher with a springboard body strike. Ricochet then hits Fletcher with an enzuigiri, then follows it up with the Northern Lights/Final Cut combo. Ricochet then hits a running shooting star press for a near fall. Fletcher then runs through Ricochet with repeated clotheslines. Ricochet then responds with a rolling dropkick that sends Fletcher scurrying to the outside. Ricochet then hits a dive on Fletcher through the ropes, but Fletcher responds with a brainbuster for the near fall. Fletcher then hits Ricochet with a running dropkick and goes for a belly to back tombstone. Ricochet then lands on his feet and kicks Fletcher in the head, then follows it up with a Death Valley Driver. Ricochet then hits Fletcher with the Vertigo for the win.

After the match, new AEW International Champion Will Ospreay makes his way down to the ring with a microphone in hand. Before Ospreay can say anything, PAC comes up from behind and hits him with a poisonrana. PAC then tells Ospreay that he should not forget The Bastard. PAC then welcomes Ricochet to AEW and tells him to get to the back of the line as Ospreay belongs to him.
We then head to the back, where Jon Moxley is asked about what he meant earlier tonight. Marina Shafir then appears and attacks a backstage personnel. Moxley then says this is a lesson in humility as he walks off. Shafir then shoves the camera to the ground before she walks off as well.
AEW World Champion “The American Dragon” Bryan Danielson then makes his way down to the ring to address his future.
Bryan Danielson starts off by saying after plenty of trying and failing, he’s the AEW World Champion. Danielson then reflects on winning the title in front of 50,000 people and his family at All In, then recalls his daughter telling him backstage that it was the best day of her life. Danielson then says even before his daughter said that, he knew it is based on the reaction he received from his peers. Danielson then says when he got to the post-show All In Press conference, he was asked what’s next. Danielson then says his contract with AEW expired August 1 and he needs neck surgery sooner rather than later and his family needs him sooner rather than later. Danielson then says he’s loved professional wrestling his entire life and AEW’s existence has made his life better. Danielson then says when he thinks of all the things the people who started AEW have done, looked at all his peers in the back after All In and thought of all the people who’d wrestle in the company in the future. Danielson then says he thought it was time to go home, but not yet as he will not retire from the AEW World Championship. Danielson then says as soon as he loses the title, he will be retiring but not anytime soon. Danielson then addresses All Out and issues an open challenge to anyone who wants a shot at his title on September 7.
AEW TNT Champion Jack Perry then appears on the big screen to respond to Danielson’s open challenge and sends a message to him. Perry says his future is to retire Danielson and become AEW World Champion. Perry then appears behind Danielson in the ring and attacks him from behind. Perry then hits a running knee on Danielson, then grabs the AEW World Championship and holds it up alongside the TNT Championship as the show comes to a close.
