WWE NXT has been filmed from Orlando since the brand opened their doors. Whether they were at the WWE Performance Center or Full Sail Arena, the Florida area and that Coconut Loop of local tours is synonymous with the brand. It appears that things may be in for a change.

WWE has a lot of plans for the NXT brand, with No Mercy coming up on September 1. The brand is always changing with the pro wrestling landscape, and that might call for a change of location.

According to WrestleVotes, WWE’s Performance Center is going to relocate from their long-standing Orlando home. It will be Viva Las Vegas as the company is headed out west.

“According to a source there was an all employee meeting today at WWE HQ in Stamford hosted by Mark Shapiro. I’m told the biggest news to come out of the meeting is that the WWE Performance Center will be moving to Las Vegas in the near future.”

The UFC’s headquarters is in Las Vegas, and NXT was able to use the Apex in the region for NXT Battleground. Shawn Michaels also teased future involvement with Las Vegas. We will have to see what is next for the brand, but it appears that NXT Superstars will have to relocate. Only time will tell if this means that only certain Superstars will be making the trip.

WWE is always changing and expanding their global influence. It remains to be seen how a location move for the Performance Center will change things, but it will certainly shake up the black and gold brand.
