AEW brought a major show to Wembley Stadium on August 25, filling the iconic London venue with excitement and crowning several new champions. Fans were eager to see how ticket sales fared, and it appears the event was a success, particularly in the pay-per-view market.
All In was AEW’s most significant event of the year and its only stadium pay-per-view show. The anticipation surrounding the event was immense, and the results did not disappoint as the final numbers are coming in.
Taking to social media, Tony Khan announced that AEW All In had surpassed 50,000 tickets sold and ranked in the top two for pay-per-view buys in 2024, alongside AEW Revolution. He shared his excitement while flexing this year’s response to the All In event.
“Great news! With over 50k tickets sold @wembleystadium for #AEWAllInLondon, I think our best show ever, it was also one of our top 2 PPV buys in the past year along with #AEWRevolution, @Sting’s Final Encounter! What a 2024 AEW!”
Looking ahead, AEW has already scheduled a massive All In event in Texas next year and plans to take its Grand Slam event to Australia, moving it from New York’s Arthur Ashe Stadium. The attendance at Arthur Ashe has declined over the years, prompting AEW to bring the event to the other side of the world.
As we await details on the venue for London’s 2025 Forbidden Door event, it’s clear that Londoners have a deep love for pro wrestling, as evidenced by their warm reception of AEW this year.
Tony Khan is undoubtedly pleased with how All In turned out, setting a strong foundation for future events in the city and beyond. That won’t stop fans from trolling his replies. Either way, he will keep plugging his company in his typical Twitter fashion.
