Teddy Long Would Knock Out John Laurinaitis If Given the Chance

WWE Hall of Famer Teddy Long remains one of the most beloved figures in the history of the company, but there are some people he simply hates and that includes John Laurinaitis and it appears he would knock out Laurinaitis if given the chance.

The controversy surrounding John Laurinaitis has drawn considerable attention, particularly due to his alleged involvement in Vince McMahon’s hush money settlement scandal and the ensuing trafficking lawsuit. These allegations ultimately resulted in WWE severing its ties with Laurinaitis.

On top of that, he found himself implicated in Vince McMahon’s trafficking lawsuit. Laurinaitis has maintained his innocence throughout the ordeal, asserting that he is a victim of circumstances.

While speaking on the Road Trip After Hours podcast with Mac Davis, a fan asked Teddy Long how much he enjoyed slapping John Laurinaitis on WWE television and whether he would hit him harder if given the chance. The Hall of Famer responded that he would knock the former Head of Talent Relations out if he had the opportunity to do it again.

Long expressed that he would seriously knock Laurinaitis out if he could, especially now that he’s no longer under contract. He emphasized that what Laurinaitis did to him, which he believes ruined his career, was unforgivable.

“Oh, if I could do it again, I’d knock him the f*** out. Yeah, I’m serious, man. You know? Because I aint under no contract now, you know what I’m saying? So I’m down, and you know what that man did to me, and ruined my career, it’s just unreal.”

Teddy Long also believes John Laurinaitis is the worst person on the planet. Teddy Long’s comments stem from the fact that John Laurinaitis set him up to get fired by WWE in the past. Nonetheless, Long has a reason to hate Johnny Ace and fans understand why.
