Now, the status of AEW’s Canadian shows for next year has been revealed.

During a recent Q&A podcast on Fightful Select, Sean Ross Sapp was asked if AEW had any plans for shows in Canada in 2025. Sapp confirmed that there have indeed been discussions about bringing AEW back to Canada next year. His response? A resounding, “Yes, yes there are.”

Canada has become an important market for AEW, hosting several episodes of their programming over the past year, including the highly successful Forbidden Door event. Fans in Canada have shown tremendous support, and it’s clear that AEW recognizes the value of returning to the Great White North.

While specific dates and locations have yet to be confirmed, it’s exciting news for Canadian fans who have been eagerly awaiting AEW’s return. As AEW continues to expand globally, fans in other countries are also hopeful that the company will bring its unique brand of wrestling to their shores.
