After joining WWE a few years ago, Gable Steveson trained and participated in dark matches, though his television debut remained uncertain. Eventually, WWE released him. Following his departure, Steveson signed with the Buffalo Bills, but it appears that the team has now waived him.

Gable Steveson’s release from WWE was a long time coming for many fans, given his difficulty in connecting with audiences. Of course, he had been investing in an entirely different profession.

As reported earlier, Steveson made the jump to the NFL by signing with the Buffalo Bills and he was playing as defensive line. He began his journey into the world of NFL back in June and he was clearly putting in the work.

According to Mike Garafolo, the Buffalo Bills are waiving defensive lineman Gable Steveson. As a developmental prospect, this move does not necessarily mark the end of his career. He could potentially join the practice squad in Buffalo or continue his career with another team.

”The #Bills are waiving DL Gable Stevenson, source says. Former wrestler is a developmental prospect so this won’t be the end of the line for him, whether in Buffalo as a member of the practice squad or elsewhere.”

We will have to wait and see whether Gable Steveson will end up signing with another NFL team or whether he will end up going to another profession entirely, as things do not look good for him at the moment.
