It’s Monday night, and you know what that means! The WWE Bash In Berlin go-home episode of RAW will go down tonight, and Ringside News has got you covered with live play-by-play results coverage for the August 26, 2024 episode.

WWE RAW Results (8/26/2024):

The show opens up with a memorial graphic for Sid Vicious (a.k.a. Sid Eudy), who died earlier in the day at the age of 63.

We then see the arrivals of WWE Intercontinental Champion Champion Bron Breakker (and a dog), American Made, Braun Strowman and Bronson Reed to the arena. Micheal Cole and Corey Graves then welcomes us to the show and ring announcer Samantha Irvin introduces The Judgment Day (WWE World Tag Team Champions Finn Bálor and JD McDonagh, “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio, WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan and Carlito) and they make their way down to the ring.

Liv Morgan starts off by welcoming fans to RAW and demands that all rise for The Judgment Day. Finn Bálor then says it’s time to remind everyone what Judgment Day is all about, then sends us to a video of their attack on Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest last week. Carlito then calls the attack cool and JD McDonagh says the attack was a long time coming to Ripley and Priest. Bálor then says that Judgment Day isn’t the bad guys, but rather Ripley and Priest. Bálor then says that they betrayed Judgment Day and they got what they deserved and that attack is just a preview of what Morgan and Dominik Mysterio will do to them at Bash In Berlin. Morgan then thanks Ripley for being selfish and egotistical because none of this would have happened if she wasn’t, then says she and Dominik will always be on top. Dominik then adds that Morgan has done things for him that Ripley never did such as beating up Rey Mysterio.

Rey’s music then hits and he makes his way down to the ring with Dragon Lee, Joaquin Wilde and Cruz Del Toro. Rey asks Dominik if he’s looked in the mirror recently, then says he’s a lost soul. Rey then says someone needs to put Dominik in his place and he’s even worse now that he is hanging with Morgan. Rey then dares Dominik to nail him so he can knock him down and Dominik says he’d like to see him try. Judgment Day then looks to attack LWO, but LWO gets the better of them. Dragon Lee then flies over the top rope with some assistance to land on The Judgment Day on the outside.

Michael Cole then says RAW General Manager Adam Pearce made the first match of the night official, which is an 8-Man Tag Team Match and the match is already underway.

8-Man Tag Team Match: The Judgment Day (WWE World Tag Team Champions Finn Bálor and JD McDonagh, “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio and Carlito) vs. LWO (WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio, Dragon Lee, Joaquin Wilde and Cruz Del Toro)

The match starts off with Dragon Lee hitting a hurricanrana on Bálor. Rey then tags in delivers some right hands on him, then follows it up with a hurricanrana and goes for a pin, but Bálor kicks out. Carlito and Del Toro then tag in and Del Toro hits Carlito with a crossbody off the top. Del Toro then goes for a pin, but Carlito kicks out. Wilde then tags in and hits a double back elbow on Carlito with Del Toro. Del Toro then tags back in and sends Carlito crashing into the corner before Bálor gets in the ring and distracts the referee. McDonagh then takes a cheap shot on Del Toro, opening the door for Carlito to hit a clothesline and tag in Dominik. Dominik then delivers some stomps on Del Toro in the corner, then follows it up with right hands on him. Bálor then tags in and wears down Del Toro before McDonagh tags back in. Both men then double team on Del Toro, but Del Toro manages to tag in Wilde. Wilde then hits a facebuster on McDonagh. LWO then sends Judgment Day out of the ring and look to fly, but Judgment Day moves up the ramp to avoid them. This doesn’t stop Wilde, however, as he hits a springboard splash to land on the four Judgment Day members.

Rey then tags in and nails Dominik with a couple of clotheslines. Rey then hits a senton off the top rope, then follows it up with a kick on Dominik’s face and goes for a pin, but Dominik kicks out. Rey and Dominik then teeter on the ropes and Rey hits a Sunset Flip on Dominik, then goes for a pin. Carlito and McDonagh then break the fall, but Wilde and Del Toro fly off the top rope with a dropkick to land on them. Lee then hits a hurricanrana on McDonagh to send him crashing out of the ring to join Bálor and Carlito, leaving Dominik alone in the ring with the LWO. Rey then sends him out of the ring and the LWO flies out of each side of the ring to land on the Judgment Day. Rey then sends Dominik back in the ring and tangles him up in the ropes, the dials it up for the 619. Rey climbs to the top and looks to hit a Frog Splash, but Morgan pulls Dominik out of the way as Bálor distracts the referee. Dominik then pins Rey for the win.

After the match, Judgment Day continues beating LWO down. The Judgment Day sends the LWO out of the ring and McDonagh clears the announce desk. Bálor then sends Rey’s face bouncing off it, then places him on top of it as Dominik climbs to the top rope. Rhea Ripley’s music then hits and she makes her way down to the ring along with Damian Priest. Morgan then looks to escape through the crowd, but Ripley pulls her back into the ringside area and sends her crashing into the ring post. Ripley then stares down Dominik, but Morgan jumps on her back. Priest then nails Dominik and beats down McDonagh in the corner. Ripley then hits a clothesline on McDonagh, then follows it up with a Riptide on McDonagh as Priest hits a South Of Heaven on Carlito.

Cole and Graves then speaks about the tournament for a shot at the Intercontinental Title. Graves says the Triple Threat matches that will play out over the next two weeks will lead to a 4-Way for a shot at the title. They then hype the two Triple Threat tournament matches that will take place tonight.

We then head to the back, where The Miz is being interviewed by Jackie Redmond about him being in one of the Triple Threat matches. Bronson Reed then shows up and tells Miz that he is coming back for him.

Damage CTRL (IYO SKY and Kairi Sane) then make their way down to the ring for the next match of the night.

We then see Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods having a conversation backstage about having two chances to earn a shot at the Intercontinental Title.

Cathy Kelley is then shown interviewing Pure Fusion Collective (Sonya Deville, Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark). They speak about putting the division on notice, then they tell Damage CTRL to shoot their shot. Pure Fusion Collective (Sonya Deville, Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark) then make their way down to the ring for the next match of the night.

Tag Team Match: Damage CTRL (IYO SKY and Kairi Sane) vs. Pure Fusion Collective (Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark)

The match starts off with IYO SKY and Zoey Stark. Both women go straight after each other. Baszler makes the blind tag in and Deville nails SKY on the outside as the referee is distracted. Kairi Sane then tags in and hits a spinning backfist on Baszler. Stark then gets in the ring, but Sane takes both her and Baszler down. Sane then hits a shoulder on Stark’s midsection in the corner before she climbs to the top and hits a right hand on her. Sane then goes for a pin, but Baszler kicks out. Sane then locks in a submission on Baszler, but Baszler reverses it into an Ankle Lock on Sane. Stark then tags in and hits a dropkick on Sane off the top rope. Stark then places Sane on the top rope and joins her up there, but Zelina Vega blindsides Deville from behind on the outside. This then opens the door for Sane to push Stark off the top rope. Sane then hits the In-Sane Elbow on Stark for the win as SKY hits the Over The Moonsault on Baszler on the outside.

We then get a video on the Wyatt Sicks. Uncle Howdy (Bo Dallas) says he stopped to marvel at all of their accomplishments and he won’t make that mistake again. Howdy then says the false prophet continues to reveal himself to the world. Howdy then says he masquerades a shepherd, while marching his lambs into the mouths of woods. Howdy then says it’s not family, it’s blasphemy. Howdy then says they need to cut the head off the snake. Howdy then says it’s more than a reckoning, it’s a purge.

Graves then hypes Uncle Howdy vs. Chad Gable, which was previously announced as the show’s main event.

“The Scottish Warrior” Drew McIntyre was then shown smirking as he walked through the backstage area. McIntyre shows off the bracelet he stole from CM Punk, while Cole says McIntyre will appear next.

“The Scottish Warrior” Drew McIntyre then makes his way down to the ring to address the WWE Universe.

Drew McIntyre starts off by addressing CM Punk and says there’s no other topic Punk likes to talk about besides himself and the fans that come to see him. McIntyre then takes a seat in the ring cross-legged and asks if he has the attention of Punk and the fans now. McIntyre then says Punk is scared of him, then points out that Punk keeps attacking him from behind every chance he gets. McIntyre then says Punk keeps getting himself in situations that he thinks he can handle until the time comes to deal with them and he can’t. McIntyre then promises to lash Punk repeatedly with the strap they’ll both be tied to in their Strap Match at Bash In Berlin. Punk’s music then hits and he appears behind McIntyre with a strap in hand. Punk hits McIntyre with it and looks to take back his bracelet, but McIntyre gets the better of him and grabs the strap. McIntyre then charges at Punk, but Punk sends him crashing into the announce desk with a back body drop and delivers some right hands on him. Officials then make their way down to the ring to separate the two men. McIntyre then hops the barricade and Punk as well as three security guards ends up back in the ring. Punk then whips the security guards with the strap and sends two of them out of the ring. Punk then stands on the ropes and yells while McIntyre stands in the crowd and points at him.

We then get a video package on Braun Strowman, who says Bronson Reed will find out why he’s called the monster of all monsters.

“Main Event” Jey Uso is then shown in the concourse with fans cheering behind him. Jey then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night through the crowd. Michael Cole then tries to get Corey Graves to pump his arms like Jey and says it’s good for the soul. Graves then asks Cole what makes him think he has a soul. Jey then slaps hands with Cole before entering the ring for the first WWE Intercontinental Championship #1 Contender’s Tournament Triple Threat Match.

The Final Testament’s Karrion Kross and The New Day’s Kofi Kingston then makes their way down to the ring next.

WWE Intercontinental Championship #1 Contender’s Tournament Triple Threat Match: “Main Event” Jey Uso vs. The New Day’s Kofi Kingston vs. The Final Testament’s Karrion Kross

The match starts off with Kingston delivering some stomps on Kross in the corner. Jey then follows suit and both men deliver even more stomps on Kross. Jey then assists Kingston in hitting a dropkick on Kross, but Jey rolls Kingston up. Kingston then quickly kicks out and nails Jey with a back elbow, then looks to hit an enzuigiri. Kross then pulls Jey out of the ring before Kingston can hit a move, but Kingston nails Kross with a dropkick and climbs to the top. Kingston then flies to land on both Jey and Kross. Jey then hits an enzuigiri on Kingston and follows it up with a Hip Attack. Kross then nails Kingston with a superkick, but walks into a kick. Kingston then hits a dropkick and a clothesline on Jey before hitting the Boom Drop on both Jey and Kross. Kross then hits a forearm on Kingston in the corner, then follows it up with a powerbomb and goes for a pin. Kingston then kicks out, but Kross transitions into a Texas Cloverleaf. Kingston then rolls Kross up to break the hold, but Kross kicks out and Jey hits the Uso Splash on him for the win.

We then get a promo from WWE World Heavyweight Champion “The Ring General” GUNTHER, who was on the company’s tour of Europe. GUNTHER speaks about beating Randy Orton at Bash In Berlin.

“The Viper” Randy Orton is then shown walking through the backstage area.

Video footage of Bianca Belair appearing on Peacock’s “Bel Air” series is then shown.

Michael Cole then hypes that Smackdown will debut on USA Network on September 13. Cole then says he and Graves will be reunited on Smackdown. Cole then wonders if their next guest will be on Friday nights or Monday nights and says it will be determined in Berlin.

“The Viper” Randy Orton then makes his way down to the ring to address the WWE Universe.

Randy Orton starts off by saying he has listened to the voices in his head for most of his career, but lately, it seems as though he’s been listening to the voices of the fans. Orton then thanks the fans for signing along to his entrance music and says it means the world to him and out of all the titles he has won, there’s one that he loves the most: the World Heavyweight Championship. Orton then reflects on his previous reigns and being the last champion prior to its retirement. Orton then says he witnessed the comeback of the World Heavyweight Championship while recovering from spinal fusion surgery and he gets his opportunity to regain the title with its new legacy. Orton then says he knows that the Berlin crowd will be cheering GUNTHER on this Saturday and GUNTHER doesn’t even realize who he’ll be facing. Orton then says he has faced his fair share of demons in the past, but he has beaten them all and he’ll do the same to GUNTHER on Saturday. Orton then promises to achieve such with the three most dangerous letters in all of sports entertainment: the RKO.

“The Bruiserweight” Pete Dunne is then shown warming up backstage. Corey Graves then reads the tale of the tape for the Strowman vs. Reed Match and “The Monster Of All Monsters” Braun Strowman makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night.

We then get a promo video from WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions The Unholy Union (Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn). The Unholy Union laughs about taking the titles from Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill. They then say they will prove the doubters wrong at Bash In Berlin by exposing Belair and Cargill as the frauds that they are.

“Big” Bronson Reed then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night.

Singles Match: “The Monster Of All Monsters” Braun Strowman vs. “Big” Bronson Reed

The match starts off with Strowman going straight after Reed. Strowman delivers some strikes on Reed in the corner, but Reed responds with a headbutt and a rolling senton. Reed then delivers some shoulders on Strowman’s midsection in the corner, then follows it up with a chop. Strowman then hits a crossbody on Reed, then charges at him in the corner. Reed then nails Strowman with a boot and follows it up with a tope suicida on the outside to land on him. Reed then climbs to the top, but Strowman pulls him down. Reed then begins retreating up the ramp, but Strowman chases after him and hits a clothesline on him from behind. Reed then sends Strowman crashing into the Titan Tron and hits a splash, then heads to the back through the Gorilla Position to grab a garbage can as he waits for Strowman. Reed then tosses the garbage can at Strowman, but Strowman fights through security guards to get to Reed, sending one through a table. Reed then sends Strowman crashing into some metal equipment in the parking lot, then grabs one of the metal set pieces. Strowman then chokeslams Reed on top of a car, then sends him crashing over it. Reed then hits Strowman with a lead pipe, then climbs up a wall and hits a Tsunami on him on top of the car. Referees and producers then show up and yell for help.

The Singles Match ends in a No Contest!

Cole and Graves then narrate highlights of the Reed and Strowman parking lot brawl. Strowman is then shown still down and being tended to. Cole says they were told that Reed stood up and walked away, while refusing medical attention during the commercial break.

We then get the entrances of the next match of the night, which is the second WWE Intercontinental Championship #1 Contender’s Tournament Triple Threat Match.

WWE Intercontinental Championship #1 Contender’s Tournament Triple Threat Match: Awesome Truth’s The Miz vs. The New Day’s Xavier Woods vs. “The Bruiserweight” Pete Dunne

The match starts off with Dunne being sent out of the ring. Miz and Woods then go after each other and Woods nails Miz with a right hand. Dunne then nails Woods with a right hand of his own and stomps on both Woods’ and Miz’s hands, then hit an enzuigiri on Woods. Woods then hits a single legged dropkick on Dunne through the middle rope, but Miz responds by hitting a Tornado DDT on Dunne using Woods as a launching pad. Woods then hits a Russian Leg Sweep on Dunne. Woods then follows it up with The Swing on Dunne, but Miz hits him with a DDT and a double DDT on Woods and Dunne. Woods then hits a knee on Miz’s midsection, but Dunne responds with an enzuigiri and some stomps on The Miz and Woods’ hands. Miz then locks in a crossface on Dunne, but Woods breaks it up with a kick. Woods then hits a second kick on Miz, then follows it up with an elbow drop off the top and goes for a pin. Dunne then pulls the referee out of the ring to break the count and hits The Bitter End on Miz for the win.

WWE Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker is then interviewed by Jackie Redmond in the backstage area. Breakker says bravo to Jey Uso and Pete Dunne for qualifying in the 4-Way match. Breakker then says Jey better watch his mouth. Breakker then says no member of the Uso’s family has ever beat up a member of his family and Jey won’t be the one to do it. Breakker then dismisses the idea of Dunne winning his title. Breakker then says he is that dog and the worst is yet to come.

We then get a promo video on American Made’s Chad Gable.

Michael Cole and a graphic then says that this RAW is WWE’s 37th TV event sellout and the 54th event sellout of 2024.

We then get a promo video from the Terror Twins (Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley). Priest says the Judgment Day stabbed them in the back and think that he and Ripley are the bad guys. Priest then says you’re damn right that they are the bad guys. Ripley then says it never felt so good to be bad. Ripley then says the Judgment Day made them the villains they can’t live without. Priest then says the Judgment Day want to play the victims. Priest then says they don’t have to play at Bash In Berlin because he and Ripley will make them the victims. Ripley then says they didn’t become the most destructive force by being the good guys. Ripley then speaks in Spanish and Priest says Ripley basically said they are your devils and they are coming for you.

Commentary then runs through the Bash In Berlin card.

Michael Cole and Corey Graves then offer condolences to the family of Sid Eudy (Sycho Sid/Sid Vicious/Sid Justice) and we get a memorial video package on the pro wrestling legend. The narrator labels Sid as a kind family man outside the ring.

The lineup of next week’s episode of WWE RAW is then announced.

We then get the entrances of the main event, which is a Singles Match.

Singles Match: The Wyatt Sicks’ Uncle Howdy vs. American Made’s Chad Gable

The match starts off with Howdy delivering some knees on Gable’s midsection, then dances around the ring with him. Gable then runs the ropes, but Howdy hits him with a clothesline and a scoop powerslam. Gable then rolls out of the ring. Howdy then climbs to the top and looks to fly, but Gable moves out of the way. Howdy and Gable then exchange forearms before Gable sends Howdy out of the ring and climbs to the top. Gable then hits a clothesline on Howdy, but Howdy responds with a back body drop and a Hip Attack. Howdy then gets Gable up on the announce desk, but Gable hits an Angle Slam on Howdy on top of it. Gable then slides in the ring and the referee begins a ten count, but Howdy beats it. Gable then delivers some right hands as he teeters on the ropes with Howdy, then hits a superplex on Howdy and goes for a pin. Howdy then kicks out and Gable hits a series of German suplexes on him. Howdy then hits a uranage on Gable and goes for a pin, but Gable kicks out.

Howdy then hits a twisting neckbreaker on Gable off the top rope, then goes for Sister Abigail. Ivy Nile then jumps up on the apron and distracts the referee, opening the door for Gable to cinch in an Ankle Lock. Howdy then breaks the hold, but accidentally sends Gable crashing into the referee in the process. Howdy then locks in the Mandible Claw on Gable, but The Creed Brothers pull him out of the ring and send him crashing into the barricade. Erick Rowan, Joe Gacy and Dexter Lumis then appear to even the odds, but Nile jumps on Rowan’s back. Rowan then brawls with Julius through the crowd with Nile still on his back. Gable then gets Howdy back in the ring, but Howdy hits him with Sister Abigail for the win.

The winner of the Singles Match, The Wyatt Sicks’ Uncle Howdy!

After the match, Howdy kneels in front of Gable and holds his arms out. The usual Wyatt Sicks imagery then flashes on the screen as the show comes to a close.
