Outrage Erupts as Multiple Fan Signs Confiscated Before WWE Show in Orlando

The loyal and passionate fan base of WWE is known to display their enthusiasm in live shows in many ways. One of the most common ways is their hand-made fan signs for their favourite WWE superstars or simply to express their views on live television.

However, a common practice also seen by WWE in recent years is to confiscate fan signs if they seem inappropriate or for other reasons, such as protecting their top stars from unnecessary heat or not being permitted to display them by their network officials.

An outrage recently broke out on social media in regard to the August 16 edition of Friday Night SmackDown, that took place at the KIA Center in Orlando, Florida. There was a section of fans who stated on X that their fan-friendly signs were confiscated by the security in charge of the venue with no reason given.

“So WWE security has been confiscating Roman Reigns signs from fans? But apparently they are letting Cody Rhodes signs in? Why are they trying to suppress Roman fans from bringing signs in? What the hell is going on?”

“My sign was not that big and I didn’t put anything crazy! Security be hating.”

“Why was so many signs taken from us in Orlando Florida on Aug 16, had no offensive or non WWE, mostly Roman Reigns, left a bad taste in our mouth specially when you see other city next week full of signs @Triple H.”

On the other hand, another fan posted on X, stating that it was the KIA Center personnel and not WWE who confiscated all signs and not any specific ones.

“They weren’t confiscating any specific signs. They weren’t allowing any signs at entry at the @TheKiaCenter in Orlando. Yea I know there were signs in the crowd, but as I was entering was told “No signs.” They didn’t even look at the signs. Just “no signs.” @wwe.”

With fans expressing massive disappointment towards WWE for taking away their fan signs for no apparent reason, we will have to wait and see if the company chooses to address the situation.
