Dustin Rhodes never carried a title in Ring of Honor prior to 2024, but now he is a double champion for the company. They called him Mr. ROH as he made his way to the ring during AEW All In 2024, as he carried the Tag Team and Six-Man Title. Things are certainly better for him than when he left WWE.

Following his match at AEW All In 2024, Dustin Rhodes shared a heartfelt message with fans on Twitter. He praised AEW for reigniting his passion in pro wrestling, as he called WWE “the fed,” he stated that his current position in the business is one he would have never believed a few years ago.

In the end, Dustin Rhodes wants to take this opportunity by the horns and make the best of it. He also wants to elevate his partners in the process.

“Gonna be real for a moment. If you asked me when I left the fed if I was done, I would have told you yes. AEW called and passion was renewed. I have had 5 wonderful passionate years in @AEW. I am grateful that I can still perform at a very high level, and that impresses me personally.

“I watched Sting my whole life, and he paved the way for all of us. To watch him for so long, still able, is inspirational. Whether you love me or hate me, I believe in all my years that I am doing my best work.

Time to elevate the #VonErichs @MarshallVonEric and @RossVonErich and pass on my knowledge to them and @sammyguevara. I couldn’t be prouder or happier with this faction of guys. I may have been done 5 years ago, but passion came calling. Thanks @TonyKhan for all the opportunities. Here’s to another 36 #TheSonsOfTexas.”

Dustin Rhodes currently holds two titles in Ring of Honor. He is the reigning ROH World Tag Team Champion, a title he has secured once, partnering with Sammy Guevara. Additionally, Rhodes is also the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Champion, alongside Marshall Von Erich and Ross Von Erich, marking his first reign with this trio.

In 2019, Dustin Rhodes asked for his release from WWE, giving up his beloved Goldust moniker in the process. That gimmick meant a lot to fans, and it was a hard decision to make for The Natural. At this point, it’s apparent that he did the right thing for his career.

We will keep our eyes peeled for more updates from Dustin Rhodes, and the rest of the pro wrestling world. You never know what will happen next, and Rhodes’ recent push in ROH as a double champion tag team specialist is even more proof of that.
