The heated rivalry between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre will see the next chapter written at WWE’s next Premium Live Event, Bash in Berlin when the duo will compete in a vicious Strap match.

On the August 26 edition of Monday Night RAW, Drew McIntyre came out to address his upcoming bout with The Best in the World this upcoming weekend and as he is known for, decided to make it personal with CM Punk.

McIntyre began by mocking CM Punk’s usual routine as he came to the ring, followed by sitting in his signature style. He then promised to unleash his fury in the Strap match at Bash in Berlin, stating Punk’s hand-picked stipulation would ultimately cost.

As he put the final nail in the coffin by once again mentioning CM Punk’s family and his precious bracelet, footage obtained by Ringside News shows that CM Punk was live on Instagram backstage while listening to every word McIntyre said and rushed out to attack him with a strap while his phone was still on live mode on Instagram lying in the ring.

CM Punk launched a vicious assault on Drew McIntyre with the strap and did not even hesitate to attack the security personnel with it who tried to stop. McIntyre was able to retreat this time, but it will not be the case once they collide at WWE Bash in Berlin.
