AEW has many stars who are slowly gaining more popularity with each passing week and this includes even Big Bill. In fact, AEW’s internal reaction to Big Bill’s unexpected popularity in the UK has been revealed.

Wrestling audiences vary greatly from city to city and country to country, and this was evident during All In week when UK fans in Cardiff and London enthusiastically welcomed Big Bill.

Despite being the heel muscle for Chris Jericho’s ‘Learning Tree,’ the UK fans showed immense support for him. According to a report from Fightful Select, the “insane” reactions from the crowd caught many backstage at AEW off guard.

Big Bill received loud cheers during his singles match against HOOK at the Collision tapings in Wales on August 21. He was again widely cheered during Chris Jericho’s FTW Championship match against HOOK at Wembley Stadium at All In.

Regardless, we will have to wait and see what’s next in store for Big Bill now that Chris Jericho ended up dropping the FTW Championship to HOOK during the AEW All In pay-per-view.
