AEW’s All In at Wembley Stadium was packed with thrilling moments and surprises, leaving fans eagerly anticipating what Tony Khan had in store. One of the most highly awaited encounters featured one of the UK’s top stars facing off against The Salt of the Earth.

In a high-stakes match for the AEW American Championship, MJF defended his title against Will Ospreay. MJF had renamed the championship to the American Title after claiming it, adding an extra layer of significance to this defense. This match, which almost ended in a time limit draw, was crucial for MJF’s rebranding of the title.

For Will Ospreay, the stakes were immense. Not only did he seek to reclaim the championship and restore its original name, the International Title, but he also had the added pressure of performing in front of a home crowd, just minutes from his residence. Competing at Wembley Stadium, Ospreay was determined to bring the title back to its former glory.

The anticipation was palpable as Ospreay looked to take back what he believed was rightfully his, while facing one of AEW’s top stars on his own turf. The match at Wembley was not merely about the title; it was a clash of pride, legacy, and local pride for Ospreay.

MJF entered the ring dressed as Uncle Sam, complete with a giant American flag, while Ospreay was introduced with a nod to Assassin’s Creed. The crowd at Wembley Stadium was primed and ready for this exciting match-up.

The bout began with MJF gaining an early advantage, and the action quickly spilled outside the ring, allowing him to taunt the fans. Red, white, and blue streamers littered the ring from MJF’s entrance, as cleaning up wasn’t a priority at that moment.

MJF thrived on the boos from the crowd, who were fully behind Ospreay. Ospreay retaliated with a burst of offense, nearly securing a near fall as the match progressed. Fans treated every moment as if it were the main event, showing their excitement throughout. Ospreay executed a Sasuke Special on MJF outside the ring, but MJF responded with a brutal tombstone piledriver, showcasing his impressive core strength.

“You think you’re special because you can flip? Anybody can flip, you piece of sh*t!” MJF taunted as they continued to fight. Ospreay later hit a shooting star press on MJF, who was draped over the top rope.

Ospreay mounted another comeback with an Ozcutter for a near fall, followed by a double jump Ozcutter, but MJF managed to get his foot on the ropes. As Ospreay set up for a Storm Breaker, MJF escaped and delivered a jumping piledriver for a two-count, keeping the crowd on edge.

Ospreay finally landed a Storm Breaker, but MJF kicked out of the pin attempt. The crowd chanted “Tiger Driver” as commentary reminded them that Bryan Danielson had given Ospreay permission to use it. MJF rolled out of the ring to avoid a Forbidden Blade, but Ospreay followed and missed an Ozcutter attempt, crashing and burning.

MJF delivered a Panama Sunrise on the apron, causing the crowd to chant, “Holy Sh*t.” He then urged the referee to start counting Ospreay out. Ospreay barely made it back into the ring before the count of ten.

MJF shouted “God Bless America” as he prepared to deliver his finisher, but Ospreay blocked it and responded with an Ozcutter on the apron. Ospreay then went for a Forbidden Blade off the apron but accidentally struck a cameraman. This provided MJF with an opportunity to retrieve the title belt, which he hid in the ring. Although Ospreay dodged a title shot, MJF struck him with the belt during an attempted Forbidden Blade. Ospreay kicked out of a pin attempt and a subsequent brainbuster, surprising MJF.

As the referee was inadvertently taken out, MJF attempted a Tiger Driver, but Ospreay reversed it. MJF then delivered a low blow, allowing him to use some knuckles. Daniel Garcia intervened, preventing MJF from attacking Ospreay and revealing a mask in the process. MJF angrily vowed revenge on Garcia.

In the final moments, Ospreay delivered a Forbidden Blade followed by a Tiger Driver to win the match and reclaim the International Championship. This was a monumental moment for Will Ospreay at All In, as he celebrated with the Wembley Stadium crowd, rejecting the American Title and reinstating the championship’s original name.
