Scott D’Amore’s sudden exit from his role as TNA President caused a major change in the wrestling world. As a major name in the organization, his departure left a huge gap. With that said, he doesn’t rule out signing with AEW or WWE after his TNA exit.

Anthem Sports & Entertainment Inc. created tons of controversy in the wrestling community by appointing Anthony Cicione as the new President of TNA Wrestling, replacing the longtime leader Scott D’Amore.

While speaking in a recent sit down interview with Chris Van Vliet, Scott D’Amore was asked about his potential interest in joining WWE or AEW following his departure from TNA Wrestling. D’Amore stated that he is open to exploring opportunities with either company or any other potential ventures.

D’Amore acknowledged that he once thought he might never return to TNA after leaving years ago but remains open to new opportunities if the right situation arises. D’Amore gave emphasis to his deep passion for professional wrestling, stating that it is as a lifelong love despite the challenges he’s faced.

“I mean, I’ll never say never because you can’t say that. You can’t say that in wrestling. You can’t say that in life. I would have said, ‘No, I was never going to jump back in’ when I left TNA years ago. If the right situation is there, obviously. I’m not making light of addiction. I come from a family who had its share of addictions. I have an addiction and it’s professional wrestling. I love professional wrestling. I’ve loved professional wrestling since I was a kid.”

Scott D’Amore recently revived his Maple Pro Wrestling promotion and will be holding couple of shows in October, but he is allegedly being paid to stay at home till early next year as well. Regardless, D’Amore will continue to pave his own path in pro wrestling, so we’ll have to see whether he will end up joining AEW or WWE somewhere down the line.
