Ricochet’s WWE contract expired back in July and it was just a matter of time before he debuted in AEW. That finally happened at AEW All In today and now Ricochet has been called out for his first match for AEW Dynamite next week.
At AEW All In, Ricochet made a splash with his debut at Wembley Stadium, his first appearance since exiting WWE. He entered the Casino Gauntlet match and captivated the audience with his impressive moves, quickly becoming a central figure in the bout. His arrival was met with enthusiasm, as he demonstrated his exceptional skills and athleticism.
AEW took to their official Twitter account and uploaded a video featuring Don Callis and Kyle Fletcher. Don Callis made a huge challenge to Ricochet for a match on next week’s episode of AEW Dynamite. Kyle Fletcher
Don Callis: ”So how about this Ricochet? Let’s really set the world on fire. This Wednesday on Dynamite, you against the 25-year-old stud of the promotion, Kyle Fletcher.”
Kyle Fletcher: ”So Ricochet, allow me to personally welcome you to AEW this Wednesday on Dynamite, I cannot wait to see what you can bring to the time. I can’t wait to welcome you by dropping you on your freaking head.’‘
Will Ospreay also believes Ricochet needs to work his way up the ranks to challenge him. Regardless, we will have to wait and see how Ricochet will fare in his AEW Dynamite debut next week, as fans are certainly excited for it.
