Nigel McGuinness has been part of the AEW family for well over two years now and his commentary contributions are definitely one of the best things in the company right now. He hasn’t competed in the ring in a long time but that finally changed during AEW All In today.

Nigel McGuinness has provided commentary for both ROH and AEW Collision, but fans wondered whether he would actually return to the squared circle. That never happened as McGuinness confirmed a match with Bryan Danielson was not going to happen at AEW All In last year due to Danielson’s injury.

Fans had all but given up hope that McGuiness was never going to compete again. However, during the Casino Gauntlet match at AEW All In today, McGuinness made his entrance as the third wrestler to partake in the match.

Nigel McGuinness did the impossible and made his in-ring debut in the company and fans wouldn’t have wanted it any other way now. Regardless, we’ll have to see how he will fare in the match, as it’s clear his in-ring skills have not decreased since his last match in December 2011.
