Mariah May has been making headlines in AEW’s women’s division with her ongoing storyline involving Toni Storm and Mina Shirakawa. May betrayed Storm, leading to a match between them at AEW All In and now May has also said she’s planning to wear special ring gear for the event.

Mariah May shocked the world after betraying Toni Storm last month, in a move that no one truly saw coming. Since then, the two have been at each other’s throats, with Toni Storm even going so far as to ask May if she is ready to die.

While speaking with Shirleigh for Fightful, Mariah May talked about her special outfit for All In, stating that she had three options, each representing a different country: the United States, the United Kingdom, and Japan.

May mentioned that she was deciding which outfit would be most fitting for what she called “Toni Storm’s funeral.” May emphasized that all the outfits were vibrant and entirely inappropriate for a funeral, adding that this was intentional, as it reflected her lack of respect for Toni Storm.

“It was a little bit different, but I’m an actress, and I love to play a role, and I had Toni Storm and everybody else believing that all I ever wanted was to be like Toni Storm, which isn’t completely untrue, I do want to be Toni Storm, I want to be the face of this division. I want to do all the things that she did. That’s why I have to kill her. Wearing her gears, which let’s face it, are not as nice as mine, was a little bit of a struggle, but I did what I needed to do. I walked in her skin, I made her believe everything so I could get to this exact moment.”

Mariah May and Toni Storm also came to blows prior to AEW All In during the Celebration event for the show. Mariah May is also planning no-bikini celebration after she defeats Toni Storm for the AEW Women’s Champion at AEW All In, so it remains to be seen if May will triumph over Storm at the event today.
