Daniel Garcia had not been seen on AEW television since the July 3 edition of AEW Dynamite’s special event, Beach Break, where MJF turned heel on him and brutalized him, effectively writing him off television. However, that changed after he made his shocking return at AEW All In and now his contractual status after the show has been revealed.

We also reported that Daniel Garcia’s AEW contract is set to expire in October this year and the reason behind Daniel Garcia being written off television, which was done in case Garcia doesn’t re-sign with AEW.

During AEW All In, Will Ospreay challenged MJF for the AEW American Championship. Towards the end of the match, Daniel Garcia made his shocking return and prevented MJF from using brass knuckles to hit Ospreay, ultimately leading to Ospreay beating MJF to become the new AEW International Champion.

According to a report by PWInsider, it was reported that Daniel Garcia’s contract runs through October and he is still in discussions for a new contract with AEW at the moment.

”To correct my earlier note, we are told Garcia under contract through October and remains in discussions with the company. My line that he signed a new contract was incorrect as of this writing and I apologize for the error.”

We will have to wait and see whether Daniel Garcia will end up re-signing with AEW, as it is quite clear he will be feuding with MJF following the events of All In. Fans certainly want Garcia to stick with AEW for the long run as well.
