Bryan Danielson, recognized as one of the top professional wrestlers globally, is set to end his full-time in-ring career this year. He has now made it clear he plans to disappear after his pro wrestling retirement.

For several months, Danielson has been outspoken about his plans to retire from full-time wrestling in 2024 to devote more time to his family. While a specific date or event for his final match has not yet been confirmed, fans remain curious about how Danielson will ultimately conclude his wrestling career.

Danielson put his career on the line against Swerve Strickland at All In and there is a very real chance Danielson will retire from in-ring competition should he lose at the pay-per-view.

While speaking to TMZ Sports, Bryan Danielson was asked about his plans following retirement. Bryan shared that while he has been approached with numerous opportunities, he is not interested in pursuing them.

Bryan expressed a desire to step away from the public eye and focus on personal matters. He mentioned wanting to contribute to his community and be more involved in his children’s lives. He specifically pointed out his interest in participating in activities like coaching his son’s t-ball team, a role his wife had taken on the previous year. He further added that he plans on disappearing into the forest, akin to Homer Simpson disappearing into the bushes in an iconic episode from ‘The Simpsons.’

“So I don’t know. I’ve had people want me to do lots of things and I don’t really want to do any of them. I’d really like to just disappear. At least from the public eye.

What I’d really like to do is help with the community, help with…like be involved in my kids’ lives. As far as like my wife got to coach our son’s t-ball team last year, I’d love to be able to do that this year. Those sorts of things. Those are the kind of things that I’m putting focus and priority on.

The American Dragon also admitted that he is ready to retire ahead of AEW All In, so the gravity of the situation is more than apparent to fans. We will have to wait and see if Danielson will truly retire at All In and end up disappearing for good.
