Bryan Danielson has established himself as one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time and it may come to an end at AEW All In today. Ahead of the event, Danielson’s wife Brie Bella has admitted that she is conflicted when it comes to his retirement from pro wrestling.
Bryan Danielson has been open about his decision to step away from full-time wrestling in 2024 to focus on his family. While the exact details of his final match remain unclear, fans are eagerly anticipating how he will wrap up his storied career.
In a high-stakes match at AEW All In, Danielson will be risking his career against Swerve Strickland. If Danielson doesn’t come out on top, it could mark the end of his time in the ring.
While speaking on AEW Close Up with Renee Paquette, Brie Bella was asked about the possibility of Bryan Danielson retiring at AEW All In. She reflected on their 12-year relationship, revealing how she fell in love with him because of his deep passion and determination for wrestling. Brie mentioned how they share a unique bond, often discussing wrestling storylines and ideas that only they truly understand.
Bella acknowledged the internal conflict she feels, knowing she has always wanted Bryan to be home more, but also recognizing that wrestling has been such a significant part of their life together. Brie admitted that she’s unsure of how she’ll feel if this chapter of their life comes to an end, as wrestling has been central to their relationship.
“I fell in love with him 12 years ago because of his passion and determination and love for wrestling. It was so nice to be with someone who… you know this business, it’s like we speak a different language. We get excited about things nobody else understands. We’ll sit in bed and have so many ideas about how to change a storyline or whatever it may be. That’s when I look at him and I’m like “I know your love, I know your passion and I will never take that away. I know the kids will never want to take it away.’ That’s why tonight I’m just like… I don’t know which way I’ll be cheering. Yes, I know I’ve always wanted my husband to be home more, but at the same time I’ve been with him and all we’ve ever known together is wrestling and I don’t know if I want to see that end for him.”
Bryan Danielson has also confirmed that he plans to disappear after his pro wrestling career comes to an end. Therefore, we will have to wait and see whether The American Dragon will end up hanging up his pro wrestling boots after AEW All In today, as anything is possible in the world of professional wrestling.
