Bray Wyatt faced high expectations upon his return to WWE at Extreme Rules 2022. Unfortunately, he was unable to meet those expectations, as he tragically passed away on August 24, 2023. Wyatt had a memorable tag team run with Matt Hardy, who has now paid tribute to him on the 1-year anniversary of his passing.

Back in 2018, Matt Hardy, as part of his “Woken” character, joined forces with Bray Wyatt to form tag team known as The Deleters of Worlds in WWE. Bray Wyatt and Matt Hardy even held the Raw Tag Team Championships and eventually feuded with each other as well.

Matt Hardy took to Twitter and reflected on the one-year anniversary of Bray Wyatt’s passing, expressing how much he misses and loves him, calling Wyatt a great man, an incredible father, and one of the most creative minds in wrestling. He honored his memory by saying “Rest in Power, my compeer,” marking the significance of Wyatt’s impact on his life.

”It’s been a year exactly since we lost a great man, an incredible father & one of the most creative minds ever in wrestling, Windham Rotunda. I miss you & love you, brother. Rest in Power, my compeer. ❤️”

JoJo Offerman also penned an emotional message for Bray Wyatt and the same was done by Wyatt’s sister Mike Rotunda. Bray Wyatt’s influence extended beyond his in-ring persona, leaving an indelible mark on fans, colleagues, and loved ones alike. His creativity, kindness, and passion continue to inspire, ensuring that his spirit endures in the hearts of many.
