WWE SmackDown August 23, 2024 Preview: Confirmed Matches, Start Time and How to Watch

The August 23rd episode of Friday Night SmackDown promises to build upon the engaging storylines that entertained fans last week. Fans are definitely looking forward to seeing how the show will continue the build towards Bash in Berlin.

Last week on SmackDown, The Street Profits secured victory over #DIY, earning them the position of #1 Contenders for the WWE Tag Team Championship. They are set to challenge Tama Tonga and Jacob Fatu of The Bloodline for the titles this week. However, speculation suggests that The Bloodline will likely retain their championships by defeating The Street Profits.

In addition to that match, LA Knight will be defending his United States Championship against Santos Escobar in singles match. The night will also feature a six-woman tag team match, where Naomi, Jade Cargill, and Bianca Belair will team up to take on Blair Davenport, Alba Fyre, and Isla Dawn. Cody Rhodes and Grayson Waller will also have a segment on the show after buildup on social media.
