Swerve Strickland Confirms AEW Contract Renegotiations Are Underway

Strickland’s status as a bonafide main event star was solidified back at AEW Dynasty 2024 when he defeated Samoa Joe to win his first World Championship. Now, as the reigning AEW World Champion, he is set to take his already stellar performances to even greater heights.

During a recent interview with Barstool Rasslin, Swerve Strickland called winning the AEW World Championship Phase 2 of his career after starting with the promotion back in 2022.
