The pro wrestling world is full of controversial stories, and the rumor mill is always churning with new names attached. That being said, not every story paints the people involved in the best light.
AAA announcer Larry Dallas recently saw a posting for a GoFundMe campaign that caught his eye. Dallas replied in a now deleted tweet and started a firestorm of rumors and fan speculation in the process.
The description for this GoFundMe explained that the campaign was posted by Su Yung’s sister, because the TNA veteran is in a terrible situation financially. She cannot wrestle, and that is causing her trouble, so the campaign was started in order to help her out. As of this writing, they have raised $5,757 of a $10,000 goal.
“My sister and most loved wrestler in the world, Su Yung, was in a terrible incident in a wrestling match. Because of this, she isn’t able to work, take other bookings, or take care of her family. Please help her by helping cover her medical expenses and bills. She would never ask for any money which is why we are putting this GoFundMe together for her.“
“Su is always there for everyone behind the scenes and in front of the crowd. Please help make her life a little easier.“
Larry Dallas is a rather controversial figure in the pro wrestling world, and he doesn’t have much of a filter, either. He saw this campaign on Twitter, and he tweeted out a response that gave a lot of context to what is allegedly going on in the situation.
“Cheat on your husband. Keep his son from him. Babyface the internet for money. It’s like the twitter scumbag trifecta.”
Dallas also included an animated gif saying “it’s all in the game though, right?” There have been numerous replies to this tweet, and many of them are connecting the dots as to what he means. It should be noted once again that Dallas has deleted that post.
Su Yung is married to Rich Swann, who also made headlines recently. Rich Swann was arrested on June 8 in Altamonte Springs, Florida, facing charges of disorderly public intoxication and causing a disturbance, both classified as misdemeanors. Following the incident, Swann has voluntarily entered a substance abuse rehabilitation program, as confirmed by TNA. He now has a trial date over the incident.
The arrest report reveals that Swann attempted to forcefully enter an apartment, possibly mistaking it for his own. The resident, who was inside at the time, confronted Swann with a handgun, prompting Swann to retreat and leave the property. Police later found Swann, who appeared intoxicated and admitted to drinking heavily. He was charged after causing several disturbances in the area. Released the next day on a $250 bond, Swann is now represented by a private attorney from the Joshi law firm in Orlando. This marks the second time Swann has faced similar charges, following a similar arrest in September 2022.
We will keep our eyes peeled for more updates on this story. As of this writing, neither party has publicly addressed the situation. Keep checking back with us here at Ringside News for more details.
