Multiple Matches Announced For 8/30 WWE SmackDown

The August 23 edition of Friday Night SmackDown saw enthralling in-ring matches and moments paving the road to WWE’s next PLE, Bash in Berlin and setting the tone for next week’s SmackDown, taking place at the Uber Arena in Berlin, Germany.

The growing tensions between Andrade El Idolo and the rising star Carmelo Hayes have been evident in their backstage altercations and in-ring encounter last week. The same happened on tonight’s show after Andrade interrupted Hayes during his backstage promo.

Next week in Berlin, Germany, Andrade and Carmelo Hayes will square off in a rematch. Witnessing their first encounter on SmackDown last week, the fans in Germany can surely expect a high-speed and enthralling showdown.

Elsewhere in the women’s division, Michin has been constantly targeting WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax, even before she became champion. After ruining her championship celebrations last week, Michin seemed focused and ready to go head-to-head with Nia in a vignette that was aired.

Michin will get her opportunity next week on SmackDown as she battles Nia Jax in a Street Fight for the WWE Women’s Championship.
