Baron Corbin is clearly enjoying his time on WWE SmackDown.

After a successful run in NXT in 2023, where the former King of the Ring winner captured the NXT Tag Team Championship alongside Bron Breakker, Corbin found himself back on the main roster following the 2024 WWE Draft. Now on SmackDown, he’s joined forces with Apollo Crews, and the duo seems to be having a blast.

During an interview with WrestleBinge, Corbin expressed his excitement about returning to the main roster and teaming up with Crews.

“I’m happy to be back. I’m happy to be with Apollo Crews, he’s a great competitor. He’s making me do crazy things like jump over the top rope. Why are we doing that, I’m 280 pounds. It’s fun, it’s exciting, it’s new, it’s fresh.”

While Corbin is enjoying his current partnership, he’s also hungry for more.

“I’m always happy to be in the mix and a part of things, but I’m always hungry for more. I wanna see where this takes me, whether it takes us to tag team gold or we split off and go our own ways and I start working my way back to that main event scene and championship gold,” Corbin added.

Also in the interview, Corbin also mentioned that he’s eager to mix it up with Drew McIntyre, hinting at a potential rivalry down the line. With a possible rivalry with Drew McIntyre on the horizon, Corbin’s journey on SmackDown is one to watch as he continues to chase championship gold and solidify his place among WWE’s top stars.
