AEW Star Fires Back at Claims They Joined AEW to Be a ‘Jobber’

Taya Valkyrie made debut in AEW back in 2023 and she would then make her way to ROH, where she competed from time to time. With that said, she has now addressed an accusation that she joined the company to be a jobber.

Taya Valkyrie has often faced hate on social media and has openly shared how she deals with it. Recently on her Instagram story, when someone accused her of joining AEW just to become a “jobber,” she didn’t hold back in responding. Taya firmly addressed the disrespectful comment, listing her accomplishments and reminding the fan of her success.

Valkyrie pointed out that she wrestles every week for one of the top wrestling companies on television, lives in Los Angeles, is happily married to a successful man, has wonderful friends, and is on the verge of buying her dream home. Taya added that even her dogs have “deeper pockets” than the fan. She ended her response with a sharp remark, encouraging the fan to be better and not let their insecurities show.

“Ah yes, the ‘jobber’ insult. Darling, please be a little more creative next time…I work and wrestle every week for the best wrestling company on television, I am married to the hottest man on tv, living in LA, have fabulous friends, about to buy my dream home and I promise you my dogs have deeper pockets than you. It’s pretty awesome to be me. Put those Cheetos down and be better, your insecurities are showing xoxo Taya.”

Taya Valkyrie most recently competed against Mina Shirakawa on ROH television in a singles match this month. Nevertheless, she is more than happy working under Tony Khan and that’s all that matters to her.
