AEW’s locker room has been in the spotlight this month due to a heated confrontation between Britt Baker and MJF. This incident has sparked a lot of talk among wrestling fans and industry insiders and now Will Ospreay has finally addressed the same.

The clash started when Britt Baker made comments about MJF and his girlfriend, Alicia Atout, during the July 17th episode of Dynamite. Atout relayed these comments to MJF, leading to a heated argument. The situation got to a point where even Will Ospreay tried to mediate by talking to Baker.

Things escalated further when MJF, upset about the situation, punched a wall backstage, showing how intense the emotions and stakes were. Despite this, Britt Baker continued to appear on TV.

An HR investigation followed, resulting in a brief suspension for Baker. The investigation also looked into claims that she had a verbal confrontation with Atout and asked for her removal from the women’s locker room. Baker’s suspension was lifted when she returned via video on the August 7th episode of AEW television.

While speaking to Joseph Staszewski of the New York Post, Will Ospreay addressed reports of MJF and Britt Baker’s backstage confrontation and called it the most blown out of proportion thing he had ever seen.

”It’s the most completely blown out of proportion thing I ever seen in my entire life. I am just trying to bring people together as a team. That’s all I can say. I’m fully aware people don’t like each other backstage. I know there are people backstage that I don’t like. My whole thing is that going forward we all need to be a team. We all need to look after one another.”

MJF has also stated that the stories of his backstage confrontation with Britt Baker were blown out of proportion. Regardless, Britt Baker is already back on AEW television. Fans are hoping that things are under control as AEW All In approaches on August 25th and are eager to focus on the event.
