Scott D’Amore Addresses Joining WWE or AEW After TNA Firing

Scott D’Amore’s sudden exit from his role as TNA President caused a stir in the wrestling world. As a key figure in the organization, his departure left a significant gap. He has now addressed the possibility of joining WWE or AEW following his departure from TNA.

Anthem Sports & Entertainment Inc. angered the wrestling community by appointing Anthony Cicione as the new President of TNA Wrestling, replacing the long-serving Scott D’Amore. D’Amore’s exit marked the end of a significant era, during which he was instrumental in guiding TNA through various changes and challenges.

While speaking to Chris Van Vliet, Scott D’Amore was asked if he has any interest in joining WWE or AEW now that he is no longer part of TNA Wrestling. Scott D’Amore mentioned that he wouldn’t rule out joining either company or any other opportunity in life.

Scott D’Amore admitted that he previously thought he would never return to TNA after leaving years ago, but he remains open to future possibilities if the right situation comes along.

“I’ll never say never, right? I’ll never say never because you just can’t say that—whether it’s in wrestling or in life. I would have said no, I was never going to jump back in when I left TNA years ago. So, if the right situation arises, I mean, obviously…”

Scott D’Amore recently revived his Maple Pro Wrestling promotion and will be holding couple of shows in October, but he is allegedly being paid to stay at home till early next year as well. Regardless, D’Amore will continue to pave his own path in pro wrestling, so we’ll have to see whether he will end up joining AEW or WWE somewhere down the line.
