Ronda Rousey Expresses Interest in a Match with Rhea Ripley

Ronda Rousey left WWE after her match against Shayna Baszler at SummerSlam last year and many fans felt she would be done with pro wrestling for good. That doesn’t seem to be the case as she has expressed a desire to face Rhea Ripley one day.

During Pro Wrestling Revolver’s Unreal event last year, Ronda Rousey and Marina Shafir squared off against Athena and Billie Starkz in tag team match. However, that wasn’t her only appearance as she made her ROH debut back in November in one-off match and that would be the last time Rousey competed in a match.

Ronda Rousey and Rhea Ripley was always a dream match for several fans and many believed it was even going to happen at WrestleMania 39, but it never happened and this disappointed fans.

Ronda Rousey recently took part in a Reddit ‘Ask Me Anything’ session with AWA Studios. During the session, Rousey was asked if there was any female wrestler that she never got the chance to face and wanted to make a match happen. Rousey named Rhea Ripley and stated that she is amazing, hoping that a match between the two would happen one day.

”Yeah, Rhea Ripley — she’s amazing and hopefully we get the opportunity one day.”

Ronda Rousey already made it clear that she would consider making a return to WWE under Triple H’s regime. Therefore, only time will tell if Rousey will make her comeback to WWE and possibly feud with Rhea Ripley somewhere down the line.
