Konnan Interested In Potential WWE Return

There are many veterans who have worked in WWE during their careers but eventually left the company for one reason or the other. That also includes Konnan and it appears he is interested in making a WWE return.

Konnan had a brief stint in WWE back in 1992 and went on to wrestle in various promotions like WCW, ECW, and AAA. Now, as the Head of Creative for AAA, Konnan continues to have a significant presence in the wrestling world.

During an episode of the Keepin’ It 100 podcast, a fan asked Konnan if AAA might collaborate with WWE and whether he had been in touch with Triple H. The fan also brought up Konnan’s past comments about not being able to work within WWE’s system and asked if his perspective had changed under the new leadership of Triple H and Nick Khan.

Konnan responded positively to all these questions, indicating that a collaboration between AAA and WWE could be possible, confirming he had spoken with Triple H, and expressing that his outlook on working with WWE is different under the current regime and he is interested in returning to WWE.

“[Is there any chance of WWE and AAA working together?] I don’t see why not.

[Do you have correspondence with Triple H?] We’ve had a couple talks.

[You wouldn’t be able to work in the WWE system, you previously said that, but would your outlook now change under the new regime with Hunter and Nick Khan?] Yes.”

Konnan previously had talks about working with his godson Dominik Mysterio as well. Nevertheless, we will have to wait and see whether Konnan will make his WWE return somewhere down the line as he is certainly interested now.
