John Cena Reveals Why He Will Never Have Children

John Cena is a 16-time World Champion and was the face of WWE for a decade and is now one of the leading men in Hollywood. Cena is a happily married man but he has now revealed why he has no intention of having children.

John Cena, who is married to Shay Shariatzadeh, recently talked about why he and his wife decided not to have children. While speaking on the Club Shay Shay podcast, Cena said he feels he doesn’t have enough time to be a great parent.

Cena mentioned that he is very focused on his own life and goals, and he doesn’t think he can give the time and attention needed for parenting. Cena and his wife have discussed this and agree on their decision.

“I have a certain curiosity about life, and I also know the investment that it takes. And my biggest fear is, as someone who’s driven, many times stubborn, and selfish, I try to approach the world with kindness and curiosity, but I don’t think I’m personally ready, nor will I ever be, to invest the time it needs to be a great parent because I want to live life for all it is. And I still have a lot to do, and I still want to do a lot. I have a wonderful partner I do it with. We’ve had open conversations about this. We share the same values.”

The Leader of Cenation also mentioned that talking about this choice can lead to judgment from others. He acknowledged that it’s a personal topic and has thought carefully about it over time.

“It’s a tough subject to talk about because it immediately puts you in a category, and we can’t help but judge. People are human nature. We’re all judgmental. I’d like to believe that I operate under the construct that everyone’s okay living their life, and I can tell you this is not like a knee-jerk reaction. I’ve thought long and hard about this, even as my youngest age is like 15, 16, I remember thinking about it.”

John Cena is currently focused on his upcoming WWE retirement tour and his Hollywood obligations, so it is not hard to see why he simply does not have the time to invest in becoming a father now.
