John Cena Addresses Potential Return to ‘Fast & Furious’ Franchise

John Cena held the enviable title of being the face of WWE from 2006 to 2016, captivating audiences with his charisma and prowess in the ring. He’s now bona fide star in Hollywood and in other mediums as well, which is why he has now addressed his future in the ‘Fast & Furious’ franchise.

John Cena made his debut in the Fast & Furious franchise as Jakob Toretto, the long-lost brother of Dominic Toretto, in the ninth installment, ‘F9.’ Initially introduced as a villain, Jakob was estranged from the family due to a perceived betrayal.

However, in ‘Fast X,’ his role expanded as Jakob became a key member of the Toretto family. Ultimately, Jakob sacrificed his life to protect his family, solidifying his place in the saga.

While speaking to Club Shay Shay, John Cena was asked about his interest in joining the 11th installment of the Fast & Furious franchise. The Doctor of Thuganomics expressed enthusiasm for the idea, noting his passion for cars and his desire to be part of the franchise. He also mentioned that, given the filmmakers’ reputation for resurrecting characters, he was hopeful about being included in the next installment.

“I would be in the Fast & Furious as long as they would have me because it’s an action movie about cars. So that franchise, I’m a fan of, to be invited in is awesome. But I did have a pretty big fiery wreck in the last one. I know that they have a reputation for resurrecting characters. I hope I made it. They didn’t have a funeral for me, so I’m okay, but I hope I made it. I hope I can do the next one.”

We will have to wait and see whether the Leader of Cenation will make his return to the franchise as fans would more than love to see him back in some capacity.
