The two wrestlers attempted something new, but it didn’t seem to resonate with everyone, especially since the execution was flawed. Cornette tweeted that if such a performance had occurred in OVW during his tenure, neither wrestler would have progressed beyond the beginner’s class.

“I can honestly say if this had been done on OVW TV these two would have never been let out of the beginner’s class again.“
