WWE is working with Pro Wrestling NOAH and it was confirmed that Tavion Heights would compete at NOAH’s N-1 Victory tournament. Heights has been on a roll in Japan since the beginning and now WWE’s reaction to his performance in the tournament has been revealed.
Tavion Heights made his debut at NOAH’s N-1 Victory tournament on August 4th at the Yokohama Budokan, where he squared off against Titus Alexander during the first day of the tournament and lost but he has been on a winning streak afterwards and impressed fans and pro wrestlers alike.
During his time in the company, Tavion Heights has caught the attention of fans with his performances in the tournament, a sentiment echoed by those within the organization. According to Fightful Select, NXT officials are reportedly “very happy” with Heights’ performances and development during his run in NOAH for the N-1 tournament.
Tavion Heights also rebranded himself as “The God Of Suplexes” during his stay in Japan as well. The tournament runs until September 1st, so we’ll have to see how far he will advance in the end.
