AEW has set the stage for a monumental All In event, with the world of professional wrestling closely watching the August 25 pay-per-view, particularly the main event. Swerve Strickland is set to defend the AEW World Title against Bryan Danielson, a match that could have significant implications for AEW’s future.

Danielson has a long history of concussions throughout his wrestling career, though he concealed this from WWE when he signed, hiding his susceptibility to them. While concussions sidelined him for years, they are not currently an issue for him. His neck, however, is a different concern.

Bryan Danielson has been open about his physical condition leading into AEW All In, frequently mentioning that neck surgery is likely by the end of the year. In a new interview with Bleacher Report, Danielson took it a step further, stating that his neck is “trashed,” though otherwise, he’s feeling good.

“My neck is trashed. But other than that, I feel good. One of the things that I’m good at is experiencing pain and it not necessarily affecting me much. It doesn’t really affect my mental space. The only thing that it does kind of affect is my parenting because our son is four and wild. He loves jumping on my back and jumping on my neck, and I’m like, ‘Argh, stop!'”

Danielson also emphasized that he feels invincible when wrestling, despite the looming neck surgery. He acknowledges that while his neck affects his training, it doesn’t diminish his confidence in the ring.

“It affects my training and that sort of thing. But other than that, I feel good. The odds are, by the end of the year, I’m probably going to have to get neck surgery or whatever it is. But right now, it feels manageable. And when I get out and wrestle, I feel invincible. So that’s not even a concern.”

Bryan Danielson is set to face Swerve Strickland at Wembley Stadium, with his career on the line. Despite not currently being under an AEW contract, the betting odds for All In favor Danielson to walk away with the title.

It remains to be seen what Bryan Danielson will do next. He has endured a lot in his career, with a lengthy list of injuries to show for it. He insists he feels great, aside from his neck issues, but he remains one of the toughest competitors in the industry.
