Bobby Lashley Advised to Avoid Facing Jake Paul in Boxing Match After WWE Exit

Bobby Lashley has had a successful career with WWE during his two separate stints with the company. Now that he is no longer with WWE, he has been advised against taking on a boxing match with Jake Paul.

Last week, Bobby Lashley was moved to the Alumni section, and it was confirmed that The Almighty had parted ways with WWE. Lashley had also previously confirmed he will be competing in boxing match this year in Las Vegas.

While speaking on a recent episode of his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T warned Bobby Lashley to stay away from Jake Paul. Jake Paul has a boxing record of 10-1, with seven of those wins coming by knockout.

Booker T expressed his concern, saying that while he respects Lashley, he would advise him against fighting Jake Paul. He pointed out that boxing is a serious sport and that Lashley, who is older, slower, and not specifically trained for boxing, could be at a disadvantage as he could get knocked out by Paul. Booker T recommended that Lashley look for other opportunities rather than facing Paul in the ring.

“I like Bobby, but if you want to go get knocked out, go fight Jake Paul,” Booker T said. “Doesn’t matter [that he’s bigger] one bit. [Lashley is] older, slower, as well as he hasn’t been training to be a boxer. Boxing is not something you play, as real as it possible could be. If I was advising Bobby Lashley, I would advise him, ‘Bro. Do something else.'”

Bobby Lashley has definitely been training hard for his upcoming boxing match. Nevertheless, we’ll have to see if he will ever square off against Jake Paul inside the boxing ring, as Booker T’s words may come true if that happens.
