Roman Reigns made an unexpected comeback at SummerSlam, targeting Solo Sikoa instead of Cody Rhodes, and has been on a dominant streak since then. However, it appears that he is no longer being advertised for a significant episode of Friday Night SmackDown.

On the August 9, 2024, episode of WWE SmackDown, Roman Reigns made his presence felt at the end of the show to triumph over The Bloodline. However, the opposite happened on August 16th edition of Friday Night SmackDown, as Jacob Fatu returned and destroyed The Tribal Chief.

Earlier this month, WWE was advertising Roman Reigns for the debut episode of Friday Night SmackDown on the USA Network, set to take place at the Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Washington on September 13th.

However, if one checks WWE’s official website for that episode, one will find that Roman Reigns has been removed from the main graphic and ‘Featured Superstars’ section for the debut episode now.

It is unclear why that is the case as Roman Reigns being present for such a significant episode was always expected. Nonetheless, we’ll have to see what WWE will have planned for Roman Reigns as the weeks go by.
