AEW has undergone numerous changes and improvements over the past few years, from enhanced production values to an elevated in-ring product. Despite these advancements, many fans have criticized AEW for a lack of variety in their merchandise stands. However, it seems that the stands at the August 21st Dynamite showcased a significant improvement in this area.
AEW Forbidden Door was truly memorable show from top to bottom but many fans criticized the merchandise stands at the pay-per-view, citing a lack of variety and high prices.
However, the August 21st Dynamite is currently being held in Cardiff, Wales and the company clearly has decided to make a great impression with fans. This has extended to the merchandise section as well.
As seen by an image making rounds online, the merchandise stand for Dynamite today in Cardiff shows a marked improvement in the variety of merchandise, including more t-shirts, title belts and other items.
Tony Khan had previously addressed the lack of variety at merchandise stands and it’s now clear he was serious about making changes. Therefore, we’ll have to see if the changes will be reflected once AEW returns to the US.
