WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan, whose legacy has been marred by previous controversies and allegations of racism, has now made headlines after making racially insensitive remarks about Kamala Harris and now Top Dolla has made it clear he regrets that he was once a Hogan fan.

During a ‘Real American Beer’ promotional event at Thirsty Cowboy in Medina, Ohio, Hogan interacted with the crowd in a way similar to Steve Austin’s well-known “What?” routine.

However, the mood changed when he made a racially insensitive remark about U.S. Presidential nominee Kamala Harris, who is of Indian and Jamaican descent. Hogan jokingly asked the audience if they wanted him to “bodyslam” and “drop the leg” on Harris, and controversially referred to her as a “Chameleon” due to her heritage.

Former WWE star Top Dolla took to Twitter to comment on Hulk Hogan’s controversial remarks. He expressed how consistently embarrassing it is for him, as a Black man and wrestler, when people ask about his favorite wrestler from childhood and he has to admit it was Hulk Hogan.

”It is consistently so embarrassing as a black man and a wrestler when people ask me who my favorite wrestler was when I started watching wrestling as a kid and I have to admit it was Hulk Hogan…”

Hulk Hogan previously faced accusations of racism, especially after firing a Black ambassador for his ‘Real American Beer’ brand last month. Regardless, Hogan will continue to be surrounded by controversy and that’s unlikely to change anytime soon.
