Mexican wrestler El Hijo del Vikingo, who has garnered significant attention in the professional wrestling world, has been sidelined due to a knee injury. However, his return to the ring has been confirmed.

On February 17, 2024, Vikingo partnered with Psycho Clown and Wotan at AULL Rencor Extremo but suffered a loss against Negocio Traumado. The match was stopped due to an injury to Vikingo’s right knee.

As previously reported, El Hijo del Vikingo was scheduled to undergo surgery for a ruptured ligament and damaged meniscus. It was then confirmed that he underwent the surgery successfully and he started rehabbing almost immediately afterwards.

GLEAT has announced that El Hijo del Vikingo will be part of their events on October 6 and October 9 and this marks Vikingo’s in-ring return for the first time since February of this year. Additionally, The Rascalz (Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz) and Parker Boudreaux have also been confirmed for the shows.
