Chris Jericho has enjoyed numerous opportunities as part of AEW, and The Learning Tree continues to thrive, with no plans for retirement in sight. Alongside his wrestling career, Jericho also maintains his musical pursuits, and now his band, Fozzy, is set to perform at a major event.

Wembley Stadium has hosted many legendary bands, and soon Fozzy will be able to add their name to that list. Chris Jericho’s band will play before his match against Hook, making it a unique moment in both his wrestling and musical careers.

At AEW All In 2023, Chris Jericho channeled his inner Freddie Mercury as Fozzy performed “Judas” ahead of his match against Will Ospreay. In an interview with the Daily Star, Jericho revealed that his band will once again perform at Wembley Stadium in London before his upcoming match.

“Last year I did them both [wrestling and performing] at the same time when I played myself to the ring. We’re going to do that again this year as well. It’s live energy. Anytime you do something live, there is a certain magic to it. Jericho the wrestler is different from Jericho on stage. It is interesting to do them both within the same 20 minutes like we did last year and like we’re going to do this year.

That’s why I don’t do it too often because there is a little bit of a switch that you have to have. It’s worth it. To say we’ve played Wembley Stadium twice. It’s a combined five minutes. Five minutes at Wembley, I think any rock n roll band, ever, would take that. Obviously you want to do a whole set, but if you’re not Queen or Taylor Swift, I bet you anyone would take five minutes. We got to do that. It’s a great honor for us.”

It’s interesting whether Fozzy will perform “Judas,” given that Jericho has distanced himself from the song since embracing his heel persona. The Learning Tree has its own music, with Jericho introducing his gimmick before the match.

Jericho has been enjoying his role with the veteran Learning Tree gimmick. However, regardless of Fozzy’s involvement, Hook remains determined to take the title from Jericho. Their match is a “Last Chance Match,” meaning if Hook loses, he can never challenge for the FTW Championship as long as Jericho is the champion.
