WWE’s NXT No Mercy 2024 premium live event is scheduled for Sunday, September 1, 2024, at Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado. The card started to take shape this week during the August 20 episode of WWE NXT, and now three matches have been confirmed for the event.
During this week’s WWE NXT, Wendy Choo defeated Lola Vice, using a loaded pillow shot to secure the win. After the match, Kelani Jordan made her presence felt by attacking Choo with a pillow shot of her own, revealing that the pillowcase contained the NXT Women’s North American Title. This confrontation set up a match between Jordan and Choo for the No Mercy premium live event.
Jaida Parker earned a #1 contender spot for the NXT Women’s Championship by winning a gauntlet match. She defeated Brinley Reece, Wren Sinclair, Kendal Grey, Sol Ruca, and Adriana Rizzo to secure her shot against Roxanne Perez at No Mercy. Parker has her sights set on bringing the NXT Women’s Title home from Denver.
Oba Femi, the NXT North American Champion, will face a significant challenge in Denver at No Mercy. It was made official that he will defend his title against Tony D’Angelo at the premium live event.
Axiom and Nathan Frazer will also get their chance to reclaim the NXT Tag Team Titles at No Mercy. Their rematch against Chase U was confirmed this week after they won an eliminator match to open the show.
To close out the episode, Wes Lee, Pete Dunne, and Joe Hendry competed for a #1 contender spot to face Ethan Page for the NXT Championship at No Mercy. In the end, Joe Hendry secured the victory, setting up his match against Ethan Page in Denver.
No Mercy will cap off a busy weekend for pro wrestling fans. WWE’s Bash in Berlin event is scheduled for one day before the premium live event on August 31, and we look forward to bringing you coverage from these major events. You can check out the updated card for No Mercy below.
