Ronda Rousey departed from WWE after her match against Shayna Baszler at SummerSlam last year. Since then, she has largely been critical of WWE and has rarely competed in the ring. With that said, she doesn’t rule out returning to the ring again.
During Pro Wrestling Revolver’s Unreal event last year, Ronda Rousey and Marina Shafir squared off against Athena and Billie Starkz in tag team match. However, that wasn’t her only appearance as she made her ROH debut back in November in a one-off match.
Rousey has never competed in the match since his ROH match and fans wonder if she will wrestle a match again. While speaking during Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Rousey was asked if she was done with wrestling.
Ronda Rousey made it clear she has retired from full-time wrestling but may return to in-ring action for rare appearances to have some fun here and there but she simply can’t be on the road again.
“Full time[retirement] yeah. I might come back and have some fun here and there. But I can’t be leaving home and being on the road like that.”
Ronda Rousey also claimed that she had to fight with Vince McMahon to have great matches in WWE. Regardless, we’ll have to see when Rousey will make her in-ring return somewhere down the line.
