CM Punk’s comeback at the Survivor Series Premium Live Event truly changed the course of WWE in a huge way. In the months since, he has been a major part of WWE programming thanks to his feud with Drew McIntyre and this week’s RAW was no different. In light of this appearance on RAW, WWE’s internal reaction to Punk’s promo on the show has been revealed.
During the August 19th edition of Monday Night RAW, which took place at the Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise, Florida, CM Punk had a lot to get off his chest. CM Punk started the second hour of the show this week by entering the ring with a strap around his neck. He congratulated the Florida fans on the Panthers’ Stanley Cup win and talked about meeting fans at the Fanatics NYC Fest.
Punk was excited to share some news with the audience and proudly showed off the handmade bracelets he received from fans. The focus then shifted to his feud with Drew McIntyre, which had become quite personal. Punk commented that he believes Drew is obsessed with him. He then announced that at Bash in Berlin, there will be a strap match between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre.
