Bayley recently spoke about the possibility of a long-awaited Fatal 4-Way match between herself, Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, and Sasha Banks (now known as Mercedes Moné in AEW). These four women, known as the “Four Horsewomen,” played a pivotal role in revolutionizing women’s wrestling in WWE during the mid-2010s, helping to elevate the division to new heights both in WWE NXT and on the main roster.

Despite their numerous encounters in singles matches, tag team bouts, and even Triple Threat Matches, a Fatal 4-Way featuring all four of these trailblazers has yet to happen on a major stage. With the current state of affairs, the dream match remains uncertain. As of August 2024, Bayley is the only active competitor among the group in WWE, with Charlotte Flair sidelined due to injury, Becky Lynch on hiatus with an unclear future, and Sasha Banks competing as Mercedes Moné in AEW.

During an interview with DS of Ring The Belle during SummerSlam week, Bayley was asked if she believes the Fatal 4-Way could still happen. Her response was optimistic yet concise: “I have to believe it will,” she said, keeping hope alive for the possibility of this historic match taking place someday.

The four women did compete in a Fatal 4-Way match early in their careers at WWE NXT TakeOver: Rival, where Sasha Banks emerged victorious, capturing the WWE NXT Women’s Championship.
