Mark Henry’s debut at the AEW Double Or Nothing pay-per-view in 2021 obviously drew tons of attention. With that said, Henry is no longer part of AEW and he believes the management in AEW needs to have their screws tightened.

The World’s Strongest Man previously confirmed he would not be re-signing with Tony Khan’s company and since then, he made a shocking appearance at MLW’s Battle Riot VI event and then on the August 12th edition of Monday Night RAW.

While speaking during Busted Open Radio, Mark Henry shared his thoughts on the differences between WWE and AEW’s locker rooms. He noted that WWE benefits from its extensive experience and longevity, giving them an edge. On the other hand, AEW, being a younger company, still needs to tighten up its operations.

Henry pointed out that some key decisions in AEW need to be made more quickly, as delays often lead to last-minute scrambles and missed opportunities, which can result in issues being addressed too late.

“The WWE has an advantage because they have experience and time on their side,” Henry said. “AEW’s a young company, and it needs to have the screws tightened still. And some decisions have to be made: who’s gonna run the show? And how soon can you get to work? Because a lot of times things are left hanging in the balance too long. And stuff ends up not getting done. And then there’s the afterthought: ‘Oh s***, we gotta go do this. We start in 20 minutes.’ It’s too late by then.”

The World’s Strongest Man also felt a sense of abandonment after his AEW exit. Nevertheless, we’ll have to see whether AEW will be able to improve their management, as they definitely have room for improvement.
