Bron Breakker Announces No.1 Contender Tournament for WWE Intercontinental Championship on 8/19 WWE RAW

Bron Breakker has been on a warpath ever since he became an official member of the Monday Night RAW roster this year. His dominance was further solidified by decimating several superstars en route to picking his first major singles title.

After coming up short at WWE Money in the Bank PLE against Sami Zayn, Bron Breakker bounced back and picked up a huge win over him at SummerSlam to capture his first WWE Intercontinental Championship.

Bron Breakker put an end to their rivalry last week on RAW by defeating Zayn in a 2-out-of-3-falls match to retain his title. With Sami Zayn in his rearview mirror, Breakker shed some light on the plans that lie ahead of him.

In a backstage interview with Cathy Kelly on the August 19 edition of Monday Night RAW, Breakker revealed that RAW GM Adam Pearce had sanctioned a tournament starting next week to determine the next challenger for his championship.

However, Bron Breakker was not intimidated at all and vowed to decimate the next No.1 contender that will emerge as the tournament would kick off on the next edition of WWE’s flagship show.
